For ICEHOTEL and S.O.S. Sportswear of Sweden: designing and building an exclusive ”Showroom in Ice” together with Jens Thoms Ivarsson.

Located in the heart of Stockholm, with the opportunity to try out nice designed winter clothes in the right cold atmosphere. The room is set to maintain 7 degrees below zero C (19,4 F).

The ”Move Your Mind” Room, a showroom in ice and snow, designed and built by Tjåsa Gusfors and Simon Padian, chief designer for Saab. ICEHOTEL


November - 2007 This winter she worked as an Artist coach at the Ice Hotel. Coaching and giving artistic/technical advice to the artists invited to participate in the design of the Icehotel and also work as coordinator at the working site.  
October - 2007 In the autumn of 2007 her band “Anna Bandit” went on a European tour and gave concerts in Berlin, Dresden and finally in Liberec in Czechoslovakia. (/www.myspace.com/annabandit )
September - 2007 ”Elvis Pelvis” An action-loaded rock’n’roll play, inspired by comic strip iconography. The story centers around the less fortunate Elvis clone Pelvis Wresley, his assistant Betty and Benny, the ventriloquist’s dummy. Written and performed by Tjåsa Gusfors & Dave Braunstahl. Director: Stalle Ahrreman.
September - 2007

Concurrently the puppets she made for Östgöta Teatern in Sweden will appear in Röda Nejlikan (The Scarlet Pimpernel).

 
For Theatre Aidia in Italy she made puppets and set the design of the stenography for the play of the world famous star “Pippi Longstocking”.

The marble sculpture she made at the symposium in Portugal (April) is now part of an outdoor exhibition in the beautiful city of Sintra. (July)

Participant at a symposium on alabaster in Italy. 14 artists from around the world met in the medieval town of Volterra, Toscana.

For three weeks, they worked together and made sculptures which will be incorporated in the town’s collection of modern works in alabaster.   

June 2006 Dolls made for the summer exhibition at Läckö Castle.

Feb - April 2006

Designs and supervises the construction of the world’s largest ice cinema. A snowmobile drive-in cinema made of snow and ice.
Festival at Kautokeino, northern Norway.
Films are projected on the white screen of snow. 7 x 10 m (23 x 33 ft) The audience can either sit on warm reindeer skins at the amphi bleachers built solely from snow and ice, or simply take their snowmobiles to the drive-in section of the cinema  www.samifilmfestival.com
